DJ MIXING
The DJ MIxing course is designed to take you from the basics of equipment and essentials of mixing and scratching all the way up to advanced mixing techniques and live club and performance scenarios.  Skills covered will include:

  • - DJ fundamentals, DJ history, and music and mixing theory.
  • - Equipment setup
  • - Basic beatmatching and scratching techiques
  • - Cross genre mixing
  • - Advanced mixing techniques
  • - Digital DJ platforms
  • - Set and mixtape design

Advanced students will have chances to appear as an opener at some of Portland’s hottest nightclubs and upon completion of the course will receive a 15 minute mix-tape demo of their own design under guidance of the instructor.
